Saurabh Shah, Director, Head - People Operations, is a People Strategy expert with a focus on
Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Organisational Design and Development, Corporate
Affairs and Operational Excellence. He has spent more than 17 years of his experience serving global
customers in the Americas, India, South Korea, China, and Europe.
From July 2022 - August 2023, Saurabh worked with Haber as Vice President – Human Capital. In the role he was leading the People function across geographies covering HR, Workplace experience, General Administration, Facilities and IT.
From Mar 2014 - June 2022 Saurabh worked with Capita as Head – Human Resource leading the People function for the technology teams across India, UK, Ireland, and Poland. During his stint he focused on creating a WOW employee experience through focused interventions across the HR gamut.
From Jan 2012 - March 2014 Saurabh worked with Foton Motors as Talent Acquisition leader wherein the role was focused on People Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Development, Engagement and Analytics.
From Jan 2007 - Dec 2011 Saurabh worked with Tata Technologies. After spending 3 yrs. in India owing to his exceptional contribution in the People space he was deputed to Novi, Michigan where he institutionalized various HR processes and initiatives from an Organizational Design & Development, Employee Engagement perspective. Looking at the overall contribution, he was elevated as Head Human Resources - North America.
With degree in Computer Engineering, Saurabh started his career in IT and then went on to pursue a PGMP degree in Human Resources at MIT School of Business where he was awarded Gold Medals for academic excellence. He has also completed his Master in Personnel Management from the University of Pune.
Saurabh has won various accolades which include ‘101 Most fabulous HR Leaders in India, by World HRD Congress, ‘Top 100 Emerging Future HR Leaders’, by People Matters in 2012 & 2013, ‘Employee of the Year at Foton Motors, Best Outgoing Student: MIT School of Business and St. Patricks’ High School, Student representative: IUCAA (Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics.

He was jury for National HR Excellent Awards at Pune Business School, Suryadutta Group of Institutions. He is currently the President of HR Enlight, a nonprofit AOP and his hobbies include reading books, trekking, and travelling.
