Being apassionate‘Learner’ has been Amit’s mantra in his career growth as an HR professional. He has an optimistic approach to life and follows the motto of “Never stop learning because life never stops teaching”.
Amit started his career with Caterpillar in June 2007 and has since grown with the organization. In his current role as a Strategic Rewards Consultant, he is responsible to design and developtotal rewards programs for India and Thailand. He alsoleads regional initiativesin the Total Rewardsspace. In his role, he works closely with business leadership to identify and analyse customer needs, scope and deliver solutions, develop strategic plans and evaluate results.
Over the last 12+ years, Amit has held various individual contributor and leadership positions both in country and within the Asia Pacific region. His assignments include Talent Acquisition, University Partnerships, Employee Engagement & Communications, Succession Planning, HR Strategy, Black Belt, Employer Branding, Learning & Development and Total Rewards. He considers himself fortunate to have worked across the length and breadth of HR and support the organization in their talent imperatives through valued partnerships.
